Groups and their meeting details

The variety and topics of our groups depend on members who have a skill or interest they’d like to share or a desire to learn something new. It’s through these groups that friendships are formed, as members connect over shared interests. There are no restrictions on how many groups you can join.

Or, you could come along to the monthly meeting that takes place at Mountnessing Village Hall (see Events page) and meet other members of the Shenfield u3a.  If you become a member you will get a copy of the current Newsletter which contains the groups' contact details. Copies of our Newsletter can be found at Brentwood, Shenfield and Ingatestone Libraries.

New Groups Members are encouraged to start new groups; you don’t need to be an expert to do so. Enthusiasm matters most, and the direction a group takes is shaped by the interests and goals of its members. If you have a particular passion and think you’d like to start a group for like-minded members, feel free to discuss it informally with our Groups Co-ordinator, or any committee member. You can make a real difference by helping to launch a new group - and we want you to have fun doing it!
