Does William give you the willies? Like so many of us in our younger days, did you find his plays boring, incomprehensible and irrelevant?

Come and join our group and you will see Shakespeare with fresh eyes and discover a cornucopia of colourful characters; playful plots and marvellously modern themes.

Since our formation we have read As you Like It, Othello and Henry V, Twelfth Night and have just begun The Merchant of Venice. We stop frequently to discuss and unravel what is going on, however, Shakespeare comes alive when read aloud and becomes much more accessible.
