Annual Subscription Our current membership year runs from February to January next year and the subscription is £18, reducing to £9 from August to January. If you are interested in joining, contact our Membership Secretary.
Newsletter is produced each month. It is available at the monthly meetings and is e-mailed to members having an e-mail address. It can also be obtained from the libraries in Shenfield, Brentwood and Ingatestone. If you would like a copy, request one via Newsletter request.
Our Groups are varied and the topics depend on members who have a skill or interest they’d like to share or a desire to learn something new. It’s through these groups that friendships are formed, as members connect over shared interests. There are no restrictions on how many groups a member can join. Membership of some groups may incur expenses such as books, materials, travel costs for outings and hire of venue.
Members are encouraged to start new groups; you don’t need to be an expert to do so. Enthusiasm matters most, and the direction a group takes is shaped by the interests and goals of its members.
Our Monthly Meeting is on the third Wednesday of every month (except July) in the Mountnessing Village Hall, Roman Rd, CM15 0UG.
The timings for the meetings are :
- 9.30 am : Doors Open to members for registration
- 10.15 am : Notices and a talk (see below)
- 11.15 am : Refreshments (time approximate)
All monthly meetings are free and a non-member may have two taster sessions to help decide whether to join us or not.
