Members of this group meet about 4 times per year, usually on a Wednesday.  Mostly we meet in each other’s houses at 2.30pm in the afternoon.   Sometimes, however, we may visit an Art Gallery or Museum that particularly interests us.

We are a friendly small group with very diverse interests in ‘the arts’.  We actively welcome everyone including new members with little or no knowledge of art.  All we ask is that you have an open mind to learning and perhaps experiencing something new.  In keeping with the U3A ethos of participation, we each agree to take it in turns to lead a discussion on the life and work of an artist of our own choice.  Over the many years that the group has been running, this has meant that we have enjoyed discussing not just pictures, but other works of art which have interested and entertained us.
